چکیده

Recently, research has been actively conducted to overcome various challenges observed in wireless power transfer (WPT) technology. However, as additional techniques are implemented, the complexity and cost of WPT systems increased. Therefore, there is a need for new method that can shortcomings existing This paper presents metal surface guided-wireless (MSG-WPT) system applications with multiple receivers (Rxs). First, plate-wire propagation enhancer (PWPE) shown improve efficiency (PTE). it not suitable portable receiving systems. Maximum efficiency formulation for inductive power transfer with multiple receivers

This paper presents closed-form expressions of optimal loads that achieve the maximum efficiency for inductive power transfer (IPT) system with multiple receivers. We model the system as a passive N-port network and jointly optimize both reactive and resistive components of the loads. The derived expression allows one to predict RF-to-RF efficiency of IPT system with any number of receivers, un...

Optimal Analytical Solution for a Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer System with One Transmitter and Two Receivers

Wireless power transfer from one transmitter to multiple receivers through inductive coupling is slowly entering the market. However, for certain applications, capacitive wireless power transfer (CWPT) using electric coupling might be preferable. In this work, we determine closed-form expressions for a CWPT system with one transmitter and two receivers. We determine the optimal solution for two...

A Retrodirective Array with Reduced Surface Waves for Wireless Power Transfer Applications

A one-dimensional, dual frequency, active retrodirective array is proposed for wireless power transfer applications. Microstrip circular patch antennas with four shorting pins are used as array elements to suppress surface waves. The proposed design eliminates undesired coupling between array elements due to surface waves present in conventional microstrip antenna arrays in order to improve arr...
